6:23 PM | As the deluge of rain poured down over Twigg Oval last Thursday a mixture of sighs of relief and disappointment were heard throughout the town. For those athletes who were looking forward to competing in the hurdles events, and for the saddest one of them all, Bradley, who missed out on his beloved javelin for the second time, cheer up guys, you get to have another go in Week 14, when the weather will be just perfect for an afternoon of competition - hopefully.
Canowindra v's Bowling Club
6:21 PM | CANOWINDRA V’S BOWLING CLUB Bowling Club traveled to Canowindra on Saturday to do battle with the “Tigers’ in the return to the first grade competition proper after the brief 20/20 comp. Canowindra won the toss and asked Bowling Club to bat first.

New Aussies take the oath

Mayor Cr Bill West led Mr Livingstone and fellow new citizen Omani Nofoagatotoa in their pledges at the ceremony, before handing them their citizenship certificates and a commemorative gold coin.
