Ducking and weaving in Moorooduc

16 Feb, 2010 03:25 PM
The cream of Victoria's polocrosse players were in Moorooduc two weekends ago for state team training ahead of the national championships in Ballarat in March. Juniors, senior men and women and mixed teams took to the pitch to play the sport that combines riding skills, polo and lacrosse. The Independent photographer GARY SISSONS snapped this action shot with under-21 Victorian team members Michael Owen, left, and Tom Owen fending off Sale club member Steven Ford.
