In the second B grade semi, Edi-Asp charged straight into the grand final beating Rye 46-26.
Edi-Asp led by eight goals late in the first A grade semi, with best on court Brigitte Moloney on fire, and Donkin and Callander doing enough in the goal mouth to keep the score ticking over.
McInnes was doughty in defence, and Snooks, Cain and Arnold were the Buds' best.
The umpires in this game strictly enforced the rules of netball, and are to be commended for this.
In the B grade first semi, Tyabb headed by captain Katherine Bell in centre and assisted ably by Mel Ross, led at every change and now will meet Rye Bs in the second semi. Rye Bs were tenacious against undefeated Edi-Asp, and even led eight minutes into the second quarter.
Assunta Galbraith shot at less than 50 per cent, but was in good company with the three other goalers all having dismal shooting percentages.
Angliss and Broekhoff teamed well, and Kimberlee Rowling in defence for Edi-Asp provided great run and carry and was best on court.
Undefeated Rye marched into the grand final, with goalers White and Millar scoring at 80 per cent from 50 attempts, while their Tyabb counterparts landed only 56 per cent of 54 attempts.
Rye's midfield of Cox, Krieger and Bishop had much the better of the Tyabb trio, with Jessica Cox best on court.
Rye scored 13 goals in the third quarter with Krieger the main instigator.
White's 88 per cent shooting was all skill, while the breathtaking intercepts of McLaughlin gained much possession for Rye.
Kiz Beswick shone for Tyabb.
This week's games will see Edi-Asp against Tyabb, and in B grade, Rye opposed to Tyabb.
