THEY may ride pushbikes and be years away from getting a driver's licence, but the pupils of St Anne's Primary School, Seaford, really appreciate a motorbike.
Their attention factor shot up last week when Blake 'Bilko' Williams dropped in for a visit.
Unfortunately, injury prevented Williams from putting on a show for his young fans.
A member of the daredevil 2009 Crusty Demons motorcycle trick team, Williams made history at this year's XGames in Los Angeles as being the first international rider to win gold in the freestyle motocross competition.
He also won a silver medal in the best trick category with his inaugural 'Flying Dutchman' stunt.
Williams was voted as the Transworld Magazine's World's Best FMX Rider and Lusk Foundation Rider of the Year.
In October Williams' fame was cemented with a bronze star in the Star Zone Walk of Fame at Karingal cinema centre.
Although he was unable to attend the unveiling ceremony due to his overseas commitments, once back in Frankston Williams went to St Anne's and was busy last Saturday signing autographs and posing for pictures at Centro Karingal shopping centre.
