10 Jan, 2012 04:00 AM

An 18-year old disqualified learner rider has had his motorcycle impounded by police for 30 days for speeding in Frankston, not having a licence and not having a working brake on his machine.

Last Wednesday at 7.30pm a Frankston highway patrol member saw the unregistered motorbike speeding on Olivers Hill. Police said the bike was travelling at 120km/h in a 60 km/h zone.

The man is expected to be charged on summons with traffic offences including disqualified driving, speeding, dangerous driving and driving an unroadworthy motorcycle.
