Man run over in driveway

07 Feb, 2012 03:00 AM
A 91-year-old man was injured when a car accidentally ran over him in the driveway of his Langwarrin home last Monday week.

When paramedics arrived at 10.18pm, they found the man underneath the back of a car.

Frankston intensive care paramedic Matthew Smith said: "We believe the man fell over in his driveway during the evening. A car arrived at the house and the driver didn't see the man, and accidentally ran over him."

The man suffered fractures to his ribs and numerous grazes and skin tears and was taken to The Alfred hospital in a serious condition.
