AN award-winning photograph by Ron Brown will soon be seen by thousands of people travelling through Frankston.
The picture, titled Hidden Gem, will be printed on banners on Olivers Hill as well as being featured in Frankston Council's marketing material.
It was judged the best of 1300 entries in the city's second annual Focus on Frankston Photography competition.
Ron Brown's prize included $1500 cash, a Richoh
camera from Frankston Camera Centre and goods from Officeworks.
Second prize went to Zac Damiani for Bobby's First Day at the Beach and John Grasso won third prize for Unexpected.
They received $600 and $300 respectively, plus a camera and goods from Officeworks.
Nine category prize winners won $150 and printing from Officeworks. Category winners were Liz Lewis, Peter Verschuren, Karen Barber, Liz Lewis, Ben Merton, Tania Millson, Benjy Lee, Monique McLaren and Rick Rendell.
All winners will have their photographs displayed in the gallery at Cube 37 from Monday, March 15 to Thursday, April 1, and online at www.visitfrankston.com
