While some childcare centres have raised their fees to cover new mandatory child-to-staff ratios, owner Rachel Chamberlain said she and business partner Rebecca Sargeant believed there was no reason fees should rise dramatically to cover the extra staffing costs.
The centre charges $65 per day for children aged six weeks to five years.
